Julie Chen Moonves will host the summer hit reality series Big Brother. The show returns to CBS on the 5th of August to begin its third season. Chen Moonves has been involved in The Talk since 2010, in which she served as both the host and the moderator. In the year she started writing that her true passion was revealed. Additionally, she was awarded an Emmy award for outstanding host of a talk program. From 2002 to 2010 Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. Prior to that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor in addition to being the news anchor on The Early Show. Following the attacks of 9/11 Chen Moonves was able to track down the father and lead hijacker for an exciting and exclusive interview. Chen Moonves is a journalist who has worked alongside newsmakers such as former New York City City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Queen Rania as well as former Defense Secretary William Cohen and Denzel Washington. Chen Moonves reported on the Emmy award-winning CBS Sunday Morning program. She interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis, Betty White, Jamie Foxx, Scarlett Johansson, Katie Holmes, Matthew McConaughey, Mel Brooks, Robert DeNiro and Jennifer Lopez. She was a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the affiliate news service of the network in the late 1990s, as well as a desk assistant in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991), while finishing her final year at the University of Southern California. It was her first time working in broadcasting, as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special in 1992, which focused on the Los Angeles riots, worked with Koppel.
